As Technical Lead, Kerr Watson loves the diversity of his role at Brimmond, as well as the opportunity it gives him to support fellow team members.
We spoke with Kerr to learn more about life at Brimmond.
What is one issue clients are facing that you aim to fix?
““Innovation is paramount to achieving lower operational costs for our clients. Machinery is constantly evolving to become more efficient, environmentally friendly and compact.
That’s why lowering the cost of owning and operating high performance deck machinery is one of the aims of my role at Brimmond.”
What is one lesson you’ve learnt at Brimmond Group that you have found invaluable to the way you do your job?
“When designing equipment it’s easy to become fixated on ideas and methods used in the past, but you quickly discover that this is limiting when producing new designs.
“Brimmond has a great history of employing existing technologies in new ways. I have grown to adopt this mindset and have developed professionally as a result. A lot of what we achieve here is anchored in this approach.”
